Cleanfix presented itself for the first time at IFAS, the trade fair for the healthcare market in Zurich from 23 to 26 October 2012. Countless visitors were interested in the Swiss cleaning machines since hygiene and cleanliness has top priority in hospitals and old people’s and care homes. Everything there has to be germ-free and clean as a whistle – and wherever possible at the lowest cost. The Cleanfix sales advisors were on hand with their wide-ranging expertise.
Cleanfix debuts at IFAS Zurich
Cleanfix presented itself for the first time at IFAS, the trade fair for the healthcare market in Zurich from 23 to 26 October 2012. Countless visitors were interested in the Swiss cleaning machines since hygiene and cleanliness has top priority in hospitals and old people’s and care homes. Everything there has to be germ-free and clean as a whistle – and wherever possible at the lowest cost. The Cleanfix sales advisors were on hand with their wide-ranging expertise.

Starting from the first of October, Swiss based Cleanfix Reinigungssysteme AG has established a new subsidiary in Sweden, Cleanfix Sweden. General Manager for Cleanfix Sweden, Martin Johansson, has worked in the industry for the last 17 years, both nationally and internationally.
Cleanfix products, so far distributed by CleanXtra in Sweden, will continue as a sales distributor for the new Swedish subsidiary.
Our goal now is to gradually expand our sales network with more new partners in Sweden. We are now building a distribution network and moving quickly to increase our presence on the Swedish market. A nationwide network of service partners is being put together to ensure closeness and speed to customers in need of technical support.

More than 60 traders met at Cleanfix in Langenselbold, Germany on 10 October 2012. In a friendly atmosphere Cleanfix told them all about its cleaning machines and their uses.
Valuable tips and tricks were exchanged and everyday experiences shared. The Cleanfix package impressed the visitors, in particular the new and smallest ride-on scrubber-dryer, the RA 535 IBCT. The dealers were able to test its benefits for themselves on the slalom course. And it wasn’t long before ambition got the better of them. First clean at a speed of 180 rpm, then fit the Mexican Fibre polishing brush (or white polishing pad) and polish at 500 rpm. Especially suitable for linoleum floors often found in schools. For lasting results use a suitable cleaner / conditioner that produces a slightly shiny protective film during cleaning. Polish afterwards to gibe the floor a lasting, dirt-repellent gloss.

As a result of the successful audit on 18 November 2010, Cleanfix received certification to ISO 9001:2008 on 22 November 2010.
As part of the audit, SWISO examined the processes in all divisions according to the defined quality standards. The auditors assessed the quality management system of Cleanfix Reinigungssysteme AG as compliant with standards.
Cleanfix has grown continually over the last 30 years. With 120 employees at its head office in Henau, the company has now reached a size that requires certain structures.
Within a year, Cleanfix had set up a management system focused on the company’s procedure-oriented organisation. The employees can view the processes in the Cleanfix Intranet or read about them in a folder. Suggestions for improvement are checked by the process owners and implemented if approved. “ISO certification is an ongoing process that cannot be allowed to stall,” says project manager Christian Burkhard. The real work is actually only beginning now as the newly defined processes have to be drilled into heads and put into practice. Defining processes is the easy part – putting them into everyday work, though, is another matter entirely. Cleanfix is taking on the challenge with the goal of gaining recertification once again in three years with flying colours.
